I dreams of throwing parties like this in my back yard with friends and family. Someday… justapinchofsouth: I’d call this Gulf Coast Southern (crayfish and oysters). There’s a certain fellowship around a table like this. It’s not time for your best manners. It’s more primal than that. The strong smells, the summer sun, the ocean breeze… And it can get messy. You might get fish under your fingernails or food on your shirt. But it’s worth it. Many places have their version of this (e.g. the Cape Cod Clambake, Maryland Crab Feast). I’m not saying this one is superior. But it certainly isn’t second best to any other.
